DIRTY DOG FARM

Josh Schwab and Jesse Warner are Hudson Valley natives who met while studying agriculture at the University of Vermont’s Farmer Training Program. Realizing that they shared a passion for animal agriculture and management intensive methods, they started Dirty Dog Farm, a small-scale diversified farm in northern Vermont.

After scouring the region for land access, Josh and Jesse met Judah and Michele in early 2018 and decided to move back to farm in the Hudson Valley. Leasing pasture land at Meadowland Farm, they will continue to offer their grass-fed meats under the 'Dirty Dog ' brand.

Josh and Jesse will be managing a variety of livestock (and dogs) throughout the property’s pastures and woods. They are excited and grateful for the opportunity to raise animals on a historic property so close to home.
