To grow food for flavor while respecting and acknowledging the environment around us through sustainable practices. 

Our Growing Practices:

Meadowland Farm is an organically grown market garden managed with respect and devotion in accordance to the totality of nature. Both students of biodynamics, Chris and MaryKate are integrating various methods alongside organic growing practices, while continuing to hone their skills and further their knowledge. To avoid soil compaction, Chris and MaryKate have chosen not to use large tractors or implements and have introduced permanent beds to Meadowland Farm; choosing to work mainly by hand. In doing so, their two person farm has a smaller carbon footprint, healthier soil, less weed pressure and pest issues. Lovers of good food, Chris and MaryKate grow for flavor. Selecting over 100 varieties of vegetables each season, they specialize in interesting heirlooms with robust flavors, in addition to managing a small orchard, berries, mushrooms, cut flowers, honey-bees, and Christmas trees.
